Dementia Friendly Tech Club Research Project

Join us for a hands-on tech club designed specifically for older adults (55+) living with dementia and their care partners
Join the Gilbrea Centre for Studies in Aging and the Hamilton Public Library for 8 weekly dementia tech club sessions starting Tuesday May 6th 1pm-3pm until June 24th 1pm-3pm at Turner Park Branch (352 Rymal Road East, Hamilton ON L9B 1C2 ). Over 8 weekly sessions, we will discover new ways to enhance social connections and build essential tech skills through fun activities in a supportive environment!
The purpose of the research project is to enable older adults living with dementia and their care partners to participate in a novel co-designed Tech Club to address their self-identified digital learning needs, learn and use technology to enable social connection and build social connection with their peers in the community.
This research project is part of a research study that has been reviewed and received ethics clearance by the McMaster Research Ethics Board (MREB) #7349.
