Dementia Friendly Tech Club Co-Design Sessions

Help us co-design and create a social tech club tailored to older adults (55+) living with dementia and their care partners
The Gilbrea Centre for Studies in Aging and the Hamilton Public Library (HPL) are looking for interested older adults, people living with dementia and their care partners to participant in one of two co design sessions on either April 10th or April 24th 1:30pm-3:30pm at Turner Park Branch (352 Rymal Road East, Hamilton ON L9B 1C2 ). In these interactive sessions, we’ll explore the technological needs and preferences of older adults living with dementia and their care partners. Your feedback will directly influence the design and content of the 8-sessions of the dementia tech club, running in May and June 2025. These workshops are part of a research study that has been reviewed and reviewed ethics clearance by McMaster Research Ethics Boards MREB #7349. Participation in the co-design sessions and research project are completely voluntary.
Please contact Kyla at kovalikk@mcmaster.ca or call (905) 525 9140 Ext. 24449 to for more information on the sessions and project.
